4 TO RETURN THANKS FOR HELP TO IRELAND by Telegraph.—press association. Copyright. London, January 6. Mr. W. T. Cosgrave, President of the Irish Free State, speaking at a banquet in Dublin before his departure for America, said that it was not a party visit. It was an official visit being undertaken by him as President of the Executive Council, representing all citizens of the Free State. His primary object, on behalf of the Irish people, was to thank the United States for all the good-will and help extended to Ireland.—A.P.A. and “Sun.”
