Carlton, who only landed from the New Zealand steamer this morning, won the 100 metres in 11 seconds. In the running high jumn 1- Mason (Victoria) created a new Stale record, clearing 6 feet 2 inches, defeating Davidson, the Australian and New Zealand title holder. Other winners wore: 110 metros hurdles, A. Watson (Victoria). 16 seconds. Throwing the javelin, O. Millgate (New South 'Wales). 146 ft. 3in. Two hundred metres. A.
