lonoheon to delegates. At a luncheon tendered by the' Wellington Council yesterday to the visiting delegates to the conference of horticulturists. Mr G. A. Green, of Aiicklaml, the Dominion secretary of the Few Zealand Horticultural Association, was presented with a valuable travelling bug, and Mr. Smith of Christchurch, who acted as secretary to the conference, was given a rug. 'in recognition of their services. During the day the delegates made a motor tour of the city and marine suburbs. A visit was also naid to Wilton’s Hush, tho Khandalkth Domain. Petone woollen mills, and the new settlement at Lower Hutt At Lower Huft the visitors were welcomed by the Mayor (Mr. W. T. Strand) and Mr. Clark, and Mr. Goodhcw responded to the toast.
