RAILWAY HOUSING
PROVISION AT MASTERTON Mastertoll, January 6. Fifteen workers' homes, built Under the Railway Department’s housing schenie for employees m the railway service, have been completed at the new settlement off Lincoln Road at Mastertoil. Seven of the houses have been occupied for some weeks, tenants went into four of them a day or so ago, aud the remaining four will be taken’over within the next few days. Thirty married men are at present employed at the Masterton railway station and fifteen of these will make their homes at the settlement. The remainder have either homes of their own or other means of accommodation suitable to them.
