ANNIVERSARY DAY
EXCURSION TO PICTON. The Wahine will make another excursion to Picton on Anniversary Day, January 23. She will leave Wellington at 8 a.m., and at her full speed of about 21 knots should be inside Tory Channel well before 10 a.m., and arrive at the Marlborough port at 10.45. A special train will leave Pieton about 11 a.m. arriving back alongside the steamer. at for the eighteen-inile run to Blenheim, 2.20 p.m. Those who remain in Picton will liave nearly four hours before the Wahine commences, at 2.30 p.m., the homeward run down Queen Charlotte Sound and Tory Channel and across Cook Strait, arriving at Wellington a little after 5 p.m.
