WEEK-END EXCURSION TO WANGANUI

The week-end excursion on the Wanganui River on January 14 and 15 promises to be a most enjoyable outing, and will ■■'ve city dwellers an opportunity of viewing the beauties of this famous inland waterway. Wanganui will be reached by an excursion train from Wellington after a short journey of some five hours through the beautiful Manawatu and Rangitikei country. Those to whom the appeal of the quiet river reaches . and native bush is uppermost will find an endless variety of such scenes throughout the journey.
