CORNWALL CUP REPRESENTATIVES SELECTED

At a meeting of the Wellington Yacht and Motor Boat Association held last night, Mr. Moffat presiding, it was announced that J..W. Breen, from .the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club, and H. Stutter, from the Heretaunga Club, had been selected to represent Wellington in the Cornwall Cup contest to be held in Auckland; Breen to act as skipper. The boys leave for Auckland on January 10. A letter was received from the Takapuna Boating Club, Auckland, which stated that the number of entries for the contest had been most gratifying; as entries had been, received from Otago, Manukau, Canterbury (Lyttelton), Christchurch, Whangarei and Auckland. A donation of £5 towards the expenses of the Anniversary Regatta was received from the Worser Bay Club. Mr. Ginders, one of the three Sanders Cup selectors, stated that owing to his not having communicated with either of the other selectors, he could not make any announcement as. to what boat would represent Wellington in the contest.
