MEAT EXPORTS FROM SOUTH AMERICA Tho New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received a cablegram from its representative at Buenos Ayres South America advising die following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended December 22, 1927, from Argentine and Uruguay; 252,225 quarters chilled beef; E9OO quarters frozen beef; 224,250 carcasses frozen mutton; 244,650 carcasses frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the saraa period was as follows: 76,148 quarters frozen beef; 5400 carcasses frozen mutton; 2300 carcasses froze i lamb. All entries for the Marton District A. and P. Association’s annual show on January 18 must be lodged by to-mor-row.
