QUEEN’S THEATRE. “The War Horse,’’ commencing at the Queen’s Theatre to-night, with a matinee to-morrow, starring Buck Jones with Silver Buck, his famed steed, is a splendid tribute to the equine soldiers of the Great War. The story deals with a cowboy, Buck Thomas, whose horse Gray Eagle has been commandeered hy, *ne army for service in France. Buck joins the expeditionary force and follows his horse overseas. But France is larger than he thought, and he fails to find his horse for some time, but does find a very pretty ambulance driver stuck in the’ mud with her machine. The presentable young lady. Audrey Evans, played by Lola Todd, is the indirect cause of Buck’ getting info numerous predicaments with an officer who is also in love with Audrey.
