A record tourist season is assured for tho Marlborough Sounds, and it is reported that, although all available accommodation has been booked up, inquiries are. still pouring in from prospective holiday-makers (states tho “.Express”). At a recent meeting of tho Progress League a oonvorsational discussion .on the question of acconimodation for tourists in the Sounds and at Picton took plnoo, and it was decided, on the motion of Mr. W. T. Churchward, to recommend tho establishment by tho interested parties of a Tourist Bureau at Picton, a secretary to Ixi appointed who would keep a list of tho available accommodation and to whom prospective holiday-makers could address inquiries.
