There were interesting possibilities nt the Mount Albert Grammar School one day recently during military drill, when some of the boys were practising loading and firing dummy cartridges, and pointing their rifles at one another so that the aim could be corrected (states tho Auckland "Star’’). It was fortunate that the officer dealing out the “dummies” noticed a live cartridge in one of tho clips. It was discoloured with age, although in quite a serviceable condition.
