MOTOR INDUSTRY

EXHIBITION AT OLYMPIA NO SENSATIONAL PRICE REDUCTIONS Rugby, October 5. This vear’s Motor Exhibition, which will open on October 13, at Olympia, may be regarded as the celebration of its coming of age, for it will be the twenty-first of the series. It' will be larger and more interesting than ever. ■ No less than 516. stands will be occupied with the best productions of the nations engaged in the manufacture of motor-cars and accessories. Of this number 100 stands will display cars, Great Britain predominating with no fewer than 45 exhibits; France follows next with 21, and America with 17, the remainder being 8 from Italv, 3 from Belgium, 2 from Germany,' 2 from Australia, and 1 each from Spain and Canada. They will range from two and four-cylinder cars of seven horse-power to cars of high power but modest rating. A feature will be the increasing group of high efficiency and guaranteed speed models in the "super” class, which, as racing tests have proved, embraces products at popular prices, as well as a select few limited to the highest grade of output. The exhibition will mark no sensational price reductions. Where reductions have been made by a few firms the price revisions are comparatively small, proving that prices are becoming stabilised. —British Official Wireless:
