MARTINBOROUGH NOTES
The official opening of the season of the Martinborough Bowling Club will take place on Saturday. The Loyal Alartinborough Lodge of Oddfellows will hold a church parade on Sunday morning at the Presbyterian Church. The dance held in aid of the sports ground improvement fund was a great success, visitors being present from all parts of the district. Moore’s orchestra provided acceptable music, extras bgisg given by Miss Stubbs and Mr. Moore. The artistic decorations were a feature, while supper was provided by the Ladies’ Committee.
