BETTING ON GREYHOUND RACING
LEGALITY TO BE TESTED. (Rec. October G, 8.35 p.m.) London, October 5. The Anti-gambling League took out a summons against a' West End bookmaker to test the legality of betting on greyhound racing. When the summons came on in the West London Police Court, the league’s solicitor obtained two summonses against the Greyhound Racing Association for using the White City Stadium as a betting house aud permitting betting there. The cases were adjourned until October 7.
