REDUOTION IN ATLANTIC PASSAGE RATES. Tho White Star line announces that it is protecting its interests in tho matter of rates for the higher priced accommodation on its monster ships by a readjustment to meet existing conditions. This results in the lowering of quotations from 10 per cent, to .5 per cent, on much of tho accommodation, particularly tho expensive suites and rooms with bath, hut does not affect the basic minimum for each class. The readjustment is now effective, and applies to the Majestic. Olympic, and Honeric, as well as to steamers of tho Red Har and Atlantic Transport lines.
