NTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a SPECIAL MEETING of the Hutt County Council, held on MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, 1927. the following Resolution was passed: a •, 1 That the Hutt County Council proceed to raise under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and also under the powers contained in the Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926, and admentme.V, Orders-in-Council in pursuance of the Local Government Loans Board Act. 1926. and Section 114 of. the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, having been obtained authorising the Council to borrow, and in pursuance of all other Acts and powers (if any) enabling it in that, behalf the Special Loan of Five hundred pounds (£506) for the purpose of improving the Wainui-o-mata Hill Road. 2. That such loan be called lhe Hutt County Unemployment Relief Loan of <£soo 1927/* 3. That the currency of the said loan shall be for a period of fifteen (15) years, coininencing on the first day, of October, 1927, and maturing on the first Jay of October, 1912. , 4. That the interest on the said loan shall bo at the rate of six pounds (£6) per centum per annum, and be payable half-yearly on each day of April and October in each year. 5. That the form of security for the payment of principal apd inteiest on the said loan slioll bo one (1) debenture of five hundred pounds (£566) and relative coupons in a form in conformity writh fhe provisions of the Local Bodies Ixian Act, 1926. , 6. That tho Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge ns security for the repayment, of the said loan and the interest sinking fund and other charges thereon the special rate of nine onohtindredths (9-100ths) of a Penny in the pound sterling on (he rateable value (on the basis, of thocnnital value) of all rateable property in the No. 23 Special Rating District in tho County of Hutt. 7. That the principal and interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand. Wellington. 8. That the cost of raising the loan but not the interest and sinking ftind for the first year be paid out of the loan.
