» WAIRARAPA BODY. Masterton, October 4 The fortnightly meeting of the Claims v Board of the Wairarapa Patriotic Association was held to-day, those present being: Messrs. J M Coradine (in the chair), H. Mortensen, G. C. Summerill, and D. K. Logan. The treasurer’s statement for the quarter ended September 30 showed receipts to be £1(589 16s. lid., and payments £2680 16s. 3d., leaving a credit balance of £4500. A loan of £5O was advanced to a partially disabled soldier to assist in the conduct of his business. i An application for an advance of £l4O to assist with a farm was held over for further information. Seven claims for temporary financial were granted.
