MANUKA AT MELBOURNE. The Union Company report that tho Manuka, from Bluff, arrived at Melbourne on Sunday morning. The vessel is timed to leave Melbourne again tomorrow afternoon for Wellington, via tho south. She is due here on October 14, and will Isave again the following day for Melbourne direct. PAKEHA AT WANGANUI. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.’s steamer Pakeha arrived in the Wanganui roadstead at 8.30 a.m. yesterday from Newcastle to commence loading for London. She will leave the roadstead tomorrow for Timaru. THE KENT. The Federal Co. advise that the Kent arrived at Port Chalmers on Saturday morning from Lyttelton to continue discharge of her Liverpool cargo. She will leave the Otago port on Thursday for New Plymouth to put out the remainder. MATAROA AT PORT CHALMERS. At 8.30 o'clock yesterday morning tho Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.’s liner Mataroa arrived at Port Chalmers from Auckland to complete discharge of her London cargo. The vessel will commence loading at the Otago port, and will leave there to-morrow to load also at Lyttelton, New Plymouth, and Wellington. She is due here on October 11. and will sail again on October. 19 for Napelr and Auckland. The Mataroa is to sail finally from Auckland on October ?9, at daybreak, for ' Southampton uud London, via the Panama Canal. ATHOLL DUE SATURDAY. Mr. W. Wallis advises that the A. and A. Line chartered steamer Atholl, which arrived at Auckland on Sunday evening from New York, will leave Auckland to morrow for Wellington. She Is due here on Saturday morning. THE SOMERSET. Tho Federal Co. report that the Sonier. set arrived at Bluff on Sunday morning from Dunedin to complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo. The vessel will leave Bluff ou Thursday for Australia. The annual Rugby football match between the office staffs of the Union Co. and the combined shipping companies Is to be played next Saturday at Seatcuu. A tug will convey the teams, supporters, and lady friends from town to Seatoun. The customary “smoker” will be held at night at Dustin's, Cuba Street. CARGO OF SULPHUR. With a full cargo of sulphur for Auckland and other New Zealand and Australian ports, the steamer Sithonia is reported o have left Galveston, Texas, last Wednesday. She is due at Auckland about November 3. Robert Millar and Co. are the Auckland agenls. KIA ORA DUE THURSDAY. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co. advise that the Kia Ora will sail fro Auckland this morning for Wellington, in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool. The vessel is due hero on Thursday morning. MISCELLANEOUS. Tho Westmoreland is to sail from Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day for Auckland to fill up for London. She will leave the northern port finally on Saturday. The City of Batavia is to sail from Dunedin to-morrow for Bluff, to put out the remainder of her New York cargo. MISCELLANEOUS. Tho Tofua, from Suva, arrived at Auckland at uocn yesterday, and will leave again on Saturday for Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. Tho Waipahi will leave Rarotonga today for Auckland, where sho is duo ou October 13. The Totara left Wellington' yesterday for New Plymouth and Nelson, and will return theuce to Wellington. The Cygnet is duo here on Thursday night from Lyttelton and Kaikoura, and will return on' Friday to the same ports.
