IN SOLOMON ISLANDS BY Telegraph.—press association. Copyright. Sydney, October 3 Mr. Lynch, manager of a plantation in the Solomon Islands, has arrived. He reported that in revenge for a beating he had received a native attacked J. L. Cmneroii, a planter’s assistant, and after rendering him unconscious with a stone dispatched him with a tomahawk. Later, the murderer’s remains were found hanging by a rope from the neck from a small boat in a creek. The lower portion of the body had been devoured bv crocodiles. Mr. Lynch also stated that a Chinese had been killed as a sacrifice by a tribe of natives. The murderers were captured, and one of them had already beenhanged.
