building destroyed. By TELEGKArn.— Press association. Whangarel, October 3. A Kaifaia message,, states that a pie* ture hall belonging "to Mr. Powell at Pawerenga, near Whangape, was burnt down on Saturday night. During the showing of a picture the film broke and a flare-up ensued. The hall wa* soon ablaze, but the audience left quietly. The hall was destroyed, but the piano and engine were saved.
