A Chicago message bays that two interesting reports were current to-day relative to the championship fight,-namely, that Tunney will receive a flat sum of a million dollars, ami Dempsey 425,000, and. that Dempsey is engaging in secret boxing sessions. Another story, that Tunney had accepted a bribe of a million dollars from New York gamblers to let Dempsey win, gained currency over the week-end, but is vehemently denied by the champion. Tunney enjoyed a complete day’s rest to-day, save a round of golf. He bad planned a little ring work, but the intense heat hero caused a change of Allans. Dempsey also did no boxing, but engaged in pulleys and punching bag. It is understood that he will continue secret boxing sessions until next Sunday.
