WAINGAWA FREEZING WORKS
4 MAY BE OPERATED BY BANK. Bt Telegraph.—press association. Masterton, September 12. It was reported here to-day that the Bank of New Zealand proposes to open the Waingawa freezing works this season. Tbe Wairraapa Frozen Meat Compay, which recently decided not «.o renew the lease ->1 the works from the bank, but to operate in conjunction with the Wellington Meat Export Company at Ngaurahanga, will vacate the works at the end of September, and it is understood that the bank proposes to operate them under its own management.
