SMALL-TABLE TOURNEY. The annual tournament arranged by Billiards Limited for small-table owners, and which provides each year considerable interest and enthusiasm, was commenced last night. ‘There are 35 entrants, and on each evening six games are to be plaved. two tables being provided. The following are the evenings defeated Manis, Scott defeated Long, Fossette defeated Billman, Grabham defeated Newson, Taylor defeated Gilberd, and. Lang defeated M unro - r. The best breaks were: Fossette. 27 29 28. 53, 29; Armstrong, 24, 31; Harris 33, 28; Scott, 24; Grabham, 21; Newson, 21; Taylor 27; Lang, 30, 22, 48, 21. 31; Munro, 22. 27. To-night at 7 o’clock Griffen plays Bull and Cullinan plays Reece; at 8 o’clock Purvis plavs Hrakenridge and Abbott plavs Kelleher; at 9 o’clock Armstrong plays Scott and Lang plays Baker.
