NEW ZEALAND CHAMPION BEATEN By Telegraph—Press Association Auckland, September 12. Surprise was caused in the semi-final of tlie Auckland provincial billiards championship when E. P. Morrison, of t’ukekohe, defeated tho New Zealand champion, Q. V. Roberts, of Auckland. The final scores were: Morrison, 500; Roberts, 441. Roberts made the behest break of 70, Morrison’s best being two breaks each of 45.
