‘‘DUNEDIN IN FOR A BAD TIME” Dominion Special. Dunedin, January 21. In reqard to the unemployment that is rife in Dunedin at the present time, an instance may be quoted of a local. cariv ing firm which required the services o thirteen men for a day’s work in sinning timber. An advertisement was. mserted in a newspaper and it met witll a big response, nearly 200 men putting in an appearance in quest of a job. A well-known union secretary, who was in touch with the unemployment question throughout the trying tune t ut was experienced last year, expresses the opinion that Dunedin is in lor a baa time during the coming winter so iar as unemployment is concerned.
