AVERY.—At his residence, Roslyn Road, on January 17, after a short illness, Alfred, beloved husband of Agnes Avery; aged 57 years. BARNARD.—On January 14, 1927, at the Auckland Hospital, Leonard Thomas, dearly-beloved son of Helena Marion and the late Henry James Barnard, 201 Derwent Street, Island Bay; aged 26 years. BLACKBURN.—Children’s Medical, Wellington, on Saturday, January 15. Dorothy Enid (Nene), dearly beloved daughter of Doris Leonora Blackburn (nee Pavitt) and the late Gordon Samuel Blackburn; aged 5 years and 5 months. "Till we meet again. BUCHAN.—At Wellington, on January 16. 1927, Ann, widow of the late Alexander Buchan; aged 76 years. BRISCO—On January 20, 1927, at his late residence, 133 Church Street, Palmerston North, Arthur Hylton,, beloved husband of Jessie Mary Brisco; aged 79 years. Private interment. CLARK—On January 20, 1927, Isaac Clark, of "Waimea," Northland; in his 78th year. No flowers, by request. COOPER—On January 17, 1927, at Maitland Private Hospital, Palmerston North, Jamie, relict of the ' late Thomas Cooper, of Kawhapau, Mangaweka; aged 58 years. EDWARDS—On Sunday, January 16, 1927, at the Wellington Hospital, Elizabeth M. Edwards, late of Christchurch, beloved mother of Mrs. N- Hayley, Trentham; aged 65 years. Private interment. GODBER.—On January 15, 1927, at the residence of his son, 35 Ellice Avenue, Charles Godber; in his 84th year. HORN. —On January 21, 1927, at Wellington, Helen Stevenson, beloved wife of Robert Letham Horn, aged 61 years. HENDERSON—On January 19, 1927, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. R. H. Vincent, 21 Thorby Street, Julia, relict of the late Henry Beveridge Henderson, in her 82nd year. R.I.P. HENDERSON.—On January 16, 1927, William Kirk, beloved husband of Isabel Hastings, and second son of George Frances Henderson, 283 Willis Street. Deeply regretted. Result of accident. JACKSON.—On January 17, 1927, at Wellington, Fannie, dearly beloved eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Jackson, of the Wairarapa. Deeply mourned. Private interment. KING. —Oq January 15, 1927, at Melrose, Isabella Cockburn, beloved wife of Sir Frederic Truby King. Private interment. MILNE.—On January 13, 1927, at Stafford Hospital, Dunedin (result of tn accident), Arthur Waddington Milne, of Wilden Downs, Heriot, beloved husband of Ethel Lithgow Milne, and youngest son of William Milne, late of Ardgowan, Oamaru; aged 39 years. THORNTON.—On January 16, 1927, at Victoria Hospital, Lelia, beloved wife of Robert C. Thornton; aged 62 years. No flowers by request.
