The Boy Scout who accompanied the Shackleton Expedition to the Antarctic, James Marr, now a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science of Aberdeen University, has been appointed zoologist to the Discovery Expedition organised by the Colonial Office, in regard to •which two ships, the Discovery and William Scoresby, will investigate deepsea life and make scientific surveys in the Antarctic.
