The Bucharest correspondent of the “Daily Express” says King Ferdinand appeared extremely ill and emaciated, and is suffering from cancer and phlebitis. As he saluted and kissed the Queen she burst into tears. The Queen’s wish to be appointed Regent immediately is likely to meet many constitutional and legal difficulties. She has a hard fight ahead. Bucharest, December 5. Despite bad weather, King Ferdinand came from his winter residence into the city to receive the Spanish Minister. The newspapers announce that the King has recently gained 3jlb. in weight.
