WIFE’S CLAIM AGAINST HUSBAND Dominion Special. Christchurch, December 6. A claim for £2348 by a wife against her husband, representing loans and advances alleged to have been made by the wife to the husband, was made in the Supreme Court to-dav before Mr. Justice McGregor. The parties were Catherine Marjorie Mackay. plaintiff, and Arthur Charles Mackay, defendant. They were married in September, 1925, and plaintiff obtained a separation order at Wellington on September 20, 1926. . . After a lengthy cross-examination of plaintiff. His Honour and counsel agreed that it would be useless to go further with the case at that time owinc to the involved condition of the accounts The whole matter was referred to the Registrar to report to the Court as to what amount if any, was owed bv defendant to plaintiff. The matter of costs was reserved, also liberty for either party to apply-
