Tho Foxton Tennis Clubs five new courts were officially opened by the jlavor (Mr. Perreau) in beautiful weather on Saturday. The attendance was good and visitors were present front all parts of the district. Sets wore made up nud play was indulged in during the. afternoon. The Foxion Silver Band was in attendance, and enlivened proceedings witli a musical programme.
