Curtis-Bennett’s resignation, resulted:— Lieut.-Coloncl Charles Kenneth Howard (Con.) 13,395 S. W. Robinson (Lib.) 8.435 N. H. Moller (Lab.) .......... 4, 960 [At the general election Sir H. CurtisBennett (C.) was returned with 15.875 votes, S. W. Robinson (Lib.) polling 10,244, and N. H. Moller (Lab.) 2904.]
