New Zealand against Bramley . attracted an. attendance of 20,000. Heavy rain fell in. the morning, followed by wind and sunshine. Bratnley’s young players were no match for their speedy opponents, and the game resulted in a win for New- Zealand by 35 points to 12. The fiocal team won the toss, and the visitors started with the sun and wind in their faces. Harrison scored a try for Bramley, Robinson converting. Give and take play prevailed for a time, then Avery and Brown each crossed the home line twice, only one of the tries being converted. The visitors led at half-time by 14 points to 7. The New Zealanders controlled the game in the second spell, though occasionally Bramley showed up well, and twice crossed their opponents* line, Harrison scoring and Powell converting. The visitors’ scorers in the second half were Parkes and Desmond, two tries each, and Saiinders one. Delgrosso, Gardiner, and Gregory were responsible for the goals.
