GREAT INCREASE SHOWN (Rec. October 13, 5.15 p.m.) London. October 12. Official returns show ’hat 1,572,000 were uneiuploved in Britain last week, an increase of 15,000 compared with the previous week, and an increase of 275,000 compared with the corresponding week in 1925 The figures exclude miners.—“ The Times.”
