Dominion Special. Auckland, October 13. A burglary , which it is thought was carried out ’by two boys, was committed at the premises of A. Costello, s outfitter, in Karaugahape Road, on Moudav evening. Entrance was effected through a rear window, and two suits of clothes and 18s. in cash were taken. It is surmised that the thieves climbed on to the roof of a shed, and breaking a pane of glass, entered the second story of the building. Making their wav to the shop, they took the contents of a Ijowl of pennies, about 3s. worth, and then breaking open the till took the money there, about 15s_. Two pair’s of trousers and tunics which the thieves had evidently left in exchange for the suits they stole were found in the fitting room. Before leaving the premises the burg, lars found time to have supper. They treated themselves to tea nnd biscuits and boiled n kettle of water on a gas ring.
