FISHING AT LAKE TAUPO
PROTEST FROM HAMILTON. BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. Hamilton, September 9. Hamilton anglers have decided to enter an emphatic protest against the proposals under the new regulation for Lake Taupo fishing. They consider the charges iniquitous and not fairly allocated, Taupo residents enjoying the same rivileges as others for a much smaller fee. Protests are to be made against the proposals to prohibit night fishing, sug--’estint: natives be appointed rangers and the allegedly unfair fees proposed, especially for daily fishing.
