SUDDEN DISAPPEARANCE
4 BUILDER MISSING FROM HOME. By Telegraph. Press association. Christchurch, September 9. On the morning of August 11, William George Haines, a builder of Riccarton Road, left his home suddenly. Since then nothing has been seen or heard of him. Haines left a message saying that he intended going to Sumner and that be intended to take his own life. If this had been done his body is almost certain to have been found. He gave no other reason for his sudden disappearance.
