TRAFFIC CONTROL AT WINTER SHOW

Councillor G. A. Troup pointed out it was the duty of the council In control any rush of traffic in the city. This had to he done on the oc-•-ion of the Race Club Ball at the “’own Hall and at big football matches. Ke could not see that thev had any right to expect any organisation to pay for the control of traffic. Councillor W. IT. Bennett: "I agree 'th Councillor Troup. The whole discussion is paltry.” The recommendation of the committee to pay the amount was agreed to.
