A message from Seattle, Washington, states that at a conference of the Pacific Foreign Trade Council, Canadian ■ officials and commercial leaders were present. It was announced that a conference would be held next September in Victoria, British Columbia, at which it was intended the Canadian Prime Minister, members of the British Cabinet, overseas Dominions and American Cabinet members and industrial leaders should attend for the discussion of Pacific problems . and mutual shipping and commercial interests.
