WITNESS REFUSES TO APPEAR
APOLOGY ACCEPTED BY JUDGEBy Telegraph.—Press association. Christchurch, September 9. A woman who was summoned to appear as a witness in a divorce case yesterday, but who refused to attend, appeared to-day. After counsel had said that she humbly apologised, Mr. Justice Adams said that the action was highly improper, but he accepted the explanation.
