AUCKLAND WILL CASE
SOME EXPLANATIONS. BY Telegraph.—Press association. Auckland, September 9. In connection with the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case arising out of the will of the late John Herbertson, one of the plaintiffs. Mr. Edmund McNair, desires it to be .stated I bat it is his intention to hand his commission as trustee to the Mayoress’s War Memorial Library Committee, as desired by the testator. In the report of the iudginent an error occurred in avnal sentence, which might have led to the impression that there was some doubt as to Mr. McNair’s attitude. Hus >s not so. He was a plaintiff in the case, and urged that the wish of .he should be given effect to in its entirely. Apart from small bequests the institutions to benefit by the late Air. Heibeitson’s will are Knox Home. Leslie I resbyterian Orphanage, Grcyniouth Borough Council, and Jedburgh Parish Council, in Scotland.
