RAILWAY SERVICES INTERRUPTED Br Telegraph.—Press association. Auckland, July IX One of the most serious effects of the storm was the dislocation on Monday, through slips and washouts between Hoteo and Wellsford, of the train services between Whangarei and Auckland. Express passengers bound for Auckland had to spend the night at. Helensville. and passengers from Whangarei had to remain at Maungaturoto with makeskirt accommodation. The interrupted services were resumed to-day. Repair work , was effected promptly, the washouts being the main difficulty.
