Meteorological Office, Wellington, July .12, 4 p.m. Present indications are for south-easterly winds, strong to gale, northwards of Greymouth and Kaikoura, and southerlies elsewhere. Stormy weather may be expected and heavy rain generally. Rivers flooded in the north and east coast districts of the North Island, and snow in the high country of the South. The cyclone is still centred in the northern, districts, and the barometer is likely to be unsteady. D. C. BATES.
