BUSINESS NOTICES, An open letter from KIRKCALDIE’S to Country Visitors to the Winter Show Dear, Madam or Sir, —- We trust that you will enjoy your visit to the City and to the Shaw. No doubt you will have a considerable amount of spare time on your hands, and this is where “Kirkcaldie’s” can be of service to you. We have an excellent Lounge and Rest Room on the first floor, and we want you to take full advantage of it and make yourself quite at home. The Room is very snug and warm, and is equipped with writing-desks, paper and envelopes, the daily and illustrated papers, telephone, etc., all of which are entirely at your service. When making appointments with your friends, make Kirkcaldie’s Lounge your meeting-place. You will thus avoid the necessity of waiting in the cold. Adjacent to the Lounge are the Tea Rooms, of which we have two; one for Hot, the other for Cold, Luncheons, also for Morning and Afternoon Teas. Here you may procure the daintiest luncheon in town. In the Tea Rooms, during the period of the Show, a Special Fashion Display will be held every afternoon and Saturday morning, when the inimitable “Henriette” will parade in the very latest Fashion Garments. The display will be accompanied by suitable music, and we feel sure that you will enjoy it immensely. Of course, you will want to do some shopping; here also we can be of great service to you. The superior quality of our goods and our keen values are well known, and we assure you of the most courteous treatment and prompt attention at all times.
