DUNEDIN ESCAPES By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, July in. Dunedin has so far escaped any serious influenza, though colds, sore throats and mild influenza are verycommon. CHRISTCHURCH SCHOOLS TO REOPEN. Christchurch, July 10. The teachers and pupils of the primary schols closed during the week owing to the influenza epidemic have been asked to assemble at the schools on Monday as usual. Five cases of pneumonic influenza and one death were reported yesterday, all in the citv area. SEVERE CASES. •’ By Telegraph.—pbess Association. Auckland, July 10. So far twenty-two cases of pneumonic influenza are reported in the Auckland district, including five deaths, two being in the last two days.
