ENGLAND WINS ELCHO SHIELD. (Rec. July 11, 5.5 p.m.) London, July 10 At the Bislev rifle meeting England won the Elcho' Shield, with a score of 1684, Scotland scoring 1625, and Ireland 1608. Ashdown (England) scored 223 out of the possible 225, a record for the 900, 1000 and 1100 yards ranges. —Svdncv “Sun” Cable.
