JAMITO ON JULY 19. At the De Luxe Theatre, Levin, on Mondav, Julv 19, Salvino Jamito will meet Dick Eimotir in fifteen rounds for a purse cf £lOO- Jamito has been meeting all the best boxers in his class of late and wherever he is billed boxing patrons look for a very exciting and realistic exhibition of the fistic art. The Horowltenua _ Boxing Association under whose auspices the contest has been arranged have got together an -xcellcnt bunch of amateurs for the. preliminary bouts. Jim Evans, bantam champion of the Manawatu will meet Allan Birch, Wellington’s bantam champion, who drew with Evans at Levin on their first meeting. Urwin, o' Wellington, will meet Downer of Palmerston North, O’Keefe of Palmerston North will be pitted against Titrgie, cf Wellington, Holgate, Foxton’s chanipi n, will meet Tapp, a Levin champion, and Lloyd George, a Levin schoolboy, will meet a Wellington schoolboy. The box plan for ringside seats is now open at App’s, bookseller. Levin, and patrons are advised to make applications carlv for seats.
