Present indications are for strong easterly to southerly winds, northward of Kawhia and East Cape, and moderate to strong northerlies, backing to southerlies, elsewhere. Weather changeable; showery and colder generally. The barometer has a falling tendency in the northern districts, but is due to rise soon in the south. ■ D. C. BATES.
