During the midday rush hour on Saturday a blockage of outward bound tramcara wan caused iu central Willis Street by the undergear of an Aro StreOt car being damaged. The car, although only slightly damaged, wag unable to move quickly across the Manners Street intersection, out of the way of the cars behind, with the result that there was very soon a string of tramcars waiting. The disabled car was promptly ahunted off the busy line but the effect of the stoppage was felt for ten minutes or more after the cars had commenced to move.
