4 FIERCE STRUGGLE STOPPED BY REFEREE. (Rec. June 20. 5.5 p.m.). Sydney, June 20. At the Stadium last night after n fierce struggle Fernandez defeated Kilburn, the referee stopping the fight nt the end of the eighteenth round. Kilburn, though severely punished, fought desperately with extraordinary sameness, but Fernandez was too strong and Kilburn was badly punished.—Press Assn.
