WELLINGTON V. SOUTH AUCKLAND. The football public of Wellington are promised something attractive in the Rugby League code when Wellington meet South Auckland on the Basin Reserve on Wednesday. The match is being held under the auspices of the New Zealand Rugby League, whose selectors will .be present to watch the game, with a view to selecting players for the Rugby League All Blacks who leave for England in July. Oarroll, an All Black in both codes will be playing for Wellington, and is likely to qualify for the coveted honour, as well as one or two others. The South Auckland thirteen is composed mostly of players from the Waikato district, which for some years has provided talent for Rugby League overseas combinations. WELLINGTON REPRESENTATIVES.
